Skill sessions...

Skill sessions vary from group net sessions to 1:1 practices with the coaching team. Each session has a specific aim either set out by the ICP coaching staff or the individual players themselves. Practices range from technical work to game scenarios and competition based drills. The intensive nature of the programme aims to help players build a greater understanding of their own training and preparation requirements that allow them to perform at their optimum level.

Cricketers will have regular access to bowling machines, artificial and grass nets to ensure a variety of practices are available to them. Sessions will allow time to focus on individual areas of improvement as well as group based training sessions with a specific focus such as batting against spin or bowling at the death.
